Hershey Park has an all new ride! Is it a good addition for the park?

Twizzlers Twisted Gravity is the world’s Tallest and Fastest Scream and Swing ride, standing 137 ft in the air (approx 41 meters) and reaching speeds up to 68 miles per hour (approx 109 kmh)! This over one minute long ride experience takes riders back and forth on a massive swing where you will experience multiple zero G moments as you stare down to the ground and straight up into the sky. Hershey Park has over 60 attractions and this might be there best flat ride yet.
The Entrance Experience
Upon entering the hollow this ride has a commanding presence, being placed on a cliff like area where the ride looks extremely intimidating from the entrance plaza down below. This is one of the few rides in the park that takes advantage of the Hershey branding, using the red licorice candy as theming for the ride. The bright red color scheme pops in the skyline and gives Hershey another standout sight even if you’re not riding. Upon entering the queue you will be met with basic switchbacks that lead up to some stairs. This area is not shaded very well and hopefully Hershey Park is able to add some permanent shade to this area as it can get very hot at the park during the peak summer days. This ride has been very popular so far this year gaining a 30 minute to almost two hour line on some days so shade will be important for guests as they wait in a long line.
After arriving to the top of the stairs you will be met with the rides platform that contains bins towards the front facing the basketball court where all loose articles can be stored. This ride has two swinging arms, with two sides upon boarding one the faces towards the loose articles and one the faces the cliff and Great Bear. For thrill seekers, the side facing the loose articles will be your best experience as this means you will look straight down off the cliff as you are swinging. After you place your things down, you will sit in your seat which is quite comfortable but also allows for room to enjoy the zero G moments the ride offers. This ride does not have a seat belt and only has a ratcheting lap bar mechanism. As soon as everyone has been checked by the operator, the ride will begin.
The Ride Experience
The ride gets a lot higher than it looks from below once you’re able to experience it as it provides great airtime on multiple swings for a lengthy period of time. It truly is a one of a kind experience levitating for that long of a period so high up in the air. Being able to look straight down into the river adding some extra height to the ride is truly mesmerizing. The ride manages to pick up a high speed as well, gaining the speed relatively quickly as you are not only rising in height quickly but also traveling very fast. The ride will eventually begin to slow down as you are able to catch your breath as exit the ride.
How should I approach this ride?
As mentioned before this ride has been gaining long wait times at the park. Hershey Park is one of the most popular amusement parks in the entire country seeing millions of visitors every single year. A new ride is bound to attract a lot of guests who want to try it out, especially for a ride as eye-catching as this. You should approach this ride as soon as possible if you are able to arrive to the park before the opening time. If not you should wait until the end of the day as you can save it for the last ride of your park visit to maximize your time with the other rides in the park. You can also use the park skip the line system known as Fast Track to save waiting in line for the ride, however depending on the day this can get quite expensive for most.

Thoughts.
This is a perfect addition for Hershey Park. This Park is known for having one of the best amusement park lineup of attractions in the entire world and Twizzlers Twisted Gravity manages to add to that lineup. This feels like the tallest and fastest scream and swing in the world and Hershey Park and the manufacturer S&S worldwide did not hold back at all when building this attraction. It boosts the feel of the park with another thrill ride to enjoy. This is the best flat-ride at Hershey Park and definitely worth checking out during your visit.
